Fun Unknown Spots To Visit in London

LondonWe’re sure that you are well aware of Big Ben. You probably know the ins and outs of Westminster Abbey. Maybe you’ve even taken a spin on the London Eye once or twice. You’ve already booked your Europe airline tickets, so why not check out some of the places that are off the beaten track? Live like the locals do and follow some of  our travel advice.

Camden Town: Do you like tattoos? Check! Do you like mohawks? Double check! If anything, Camden Town may be the perfect spot to people watch in London. Located off the Camden Town tube stop, this neighborhood is filled with fun pubs, clubs, restaurants, and tattoo parlors. Just be aware that if you are over 35, you may be the oldest one around.

Brick Lane: Tiny streets lined with cheap, delicious Indian restaurants. What could be better? How about a Sunday marketplace where you can check out thousands of products from local vendors. If you’re visiting on a Sunday, make sure to get there early for the Sunday Up Market. Whether you are there for the Indian food or to do some local thrifting, you can’t go wrong with a visit to Brick Lane.

Tate Modern Museum: Although the National Gallery is the most popular museum in London, what you may not know of is the Tate Modern Art Museum. The Tate Museum is a short walk over the Millennium Bridge and offers a huge display of modern and contemporary art. Also, be sure to check out the events page for live music and interactive displays.
