So Much to See With Cheap Tickets to Israel

Western Haifa from the air.

After buying cheap tickets to Israel I’m learning that there’s a lot more to see outside of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee, for example. Hebron, first capital of King David, burial place of Abraham and Jacob. Masada and the Dead Sea. Acre, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the region, an old Crusader town. The desert cities in the Negev once served as pit stops at the end of the spice route from South Arabia to the Mediterranean. Haifa is home to the Bahai World Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s hard for an American like me to understand just how much history and contention has occurred in this land.

It’s important to figure out what you want to do before you get to Israel. Talk to your Israel travel agents to better understand what to fit into your busy schedule based on what’s important to you, whether it’s culture, religion, history or beaches.

You may do well to rent a car and see spots at your own leisure, or it may behoove you to take a tour bus if you want to learn more. Either way, with your cheap tickets to Israel you’ll have the trip of a lifetime.
