This holiday season whether you’re traveling with business class airline tickets or coach, you can still expect long lines and heavy baggage fees (unless flying JetBlue or Southwest). But once you arrive at your destination, there are lots of options.
If you’re looking to save some cash, think about AirBnB. This site offers rooms in local apartments at much cheaper rates than if you were to stay in the same areas at a hotel. Craigslist is another good place to find lodging, especially when staying for an extended period of time.

Sure you only have a couch to sleep on, but some couches are very comfortable and the site is set up to prevent hobos and weirdos from surfing by charging a $25 credit card confirmation fee. You may be wary at first, but think of all the money you’ll be able to spend on food and museums (and more Europe airline tickets).
