My Travel Plan Starts With a Europe Airline
Lately I’ve been thinking of throwing my hat to the wind. A-rambling I will go. Sub-let my apartment for however long I can and leave the country wandering around Europe. The most expensive part would be a Europe airline ticket. Once I get there I could make friends, or call upon friends I already know. I have an aunt who lives in Ireland who I could stay with for ten days maybe, get a lay of the land, then buy a cheap one-way ticket to Germany where I know a girl who could let me sleep on her floor for a while, maybe another two weeks, then hitch-hike or buy another ticket to Greece, where things are cheap, possibly find under-the-table work at a restaurant, learn to read some Homer, maybe buy a cheap flight to Israel and come back after another few months, right in time for warm weather, when I have run out of money.
Because that’s what travel is about, isn’t it? Jumping off and seeing what happens, not knowing if you’ll be able to do everything you want, because unexpectedly problems can arise. But dealing with those problems makes you stronger and more interesting. Now to start shopping for my Europe airline…
