Brooklyn travel agency: because we live in Brooklyn, but we want to travel.
We’re Brooklynites, and proud of it. Sometimes we’ll spend whole weekends avoiding Manhattan, on purpose, because we like our borough so much. On the other hand, we also adore packing our suitcases and schlepping to JFK or LaGuardia with some destination in mind. We don’t even mind waiting on line for security. Contrary to some popular opinion, New Yorkers are genial folks, it’s just that we tell it like it is, and we don’t put up with what we shouldn’t.
They say you can’t go home again, but that’s not true, either. The fact is, we need both. We need to leave home sometimes, but we always need to come back. There we are, smiling in a hammock under a palm tree with a coconut daiquiri in hand, and then there we are, smiling on the M60, tanned and happy to be back among skyscrapers and brownstones and busted open fireplugs.
